Botox Treatment – Getting Answers to the Concerns that Bother
When wrinkles and crow’s feet mar the beauty of your face, you sure need to find a solution, and fast. Facial muscle contractions are often the cause of such lines and wrinkles. If this is the cause of your bother, you may consider botox treatment – non-invasive procedure to inject the toxin derived from Chlostridium botulinum.

Here is a quick guide to the concerns that may bother you in this regard.

Is it easy?
This involves an initial consultation with your doctor to assess eligibility and know the details of the procedure. If you feel that it is the right treatment for you, you may take these injections at a clinic or healthcare facility. The process takes approximately 20-30 minutes.

Note: You may return to daily activities within a day. However, you need to refrain from strenuous activities. You need to avoid exposure to the sun and touching the area.

Is it effective?
The effects of Palm Beach Botox are perceptible within a few days of treatment. There is a significant reduction in frown lines and crow’s feet, and such other lines from muscular contraction. The effects stay for 4-6 months. Consult your doctor to know how frequently you would need the injections.

Is it safe?
Use of botox to treat lines and wrinkles in the forehead region has been popular for many years. The approval from the Food and Drug Administration marks the safety of botox for cosmetic procedures. The only criterion you must keep in mind is to get a certified medical practitioner for this treatment.

Note: You may experience slight side effects like swelling and redness, headache, and so on. This goes away within days.

Is it painful?
The only pain you would experience at the time of injections is similar to that of an insect bite, like a bee sting. If you are not very sure about this, ask your doctor to apply a topical anesthesia before the procedure. If you experience excessive pain later, report it immediately to your doctor.

Is it expensive?
Like most cosmetic procedures, botox too involves costs. This is perhaps the only downside of the treatment. However, when you weigh the difference this can make to your appearance with the cost, you are sure to understand the secret behind the popularity of botox.

If any other concerns bother you, find a reputed medical practitioner, get answers to your queries, and clarify your doubts regarding the treatment.

Benefits of organic cold pressed Coconut oil
Virgin Coconut oil is one of the best conditioners for hair. It helps to keep the hair well moisturized and the hair shaft strong. This will prevent breakage of the hair and allow it to grow longer and thicker without looking damaged. It can also be used as a very effective hair conditioner daily, to help keep hair strong and damage-free.

Pure coconut oil should have a distinctive fragrance and taste and does not require any bleaching, refining or deodorising. Fushi's organic virgin coconut oil is sourced from the virgin coconut oil project in Samoa, which is run by a not-for-profit women's foundation.

Virgin and pure Coconut oil is a beautifully moisturising oil when used on the hair as well as the skin., Coconut oil adds shine, lustre and softness to the hair shaft. The temporary moisture benefits of coconut oil enable it to cling to weaker points along the hair shaft, helping boost hair strength and reducing the occurrence of hair breakage. Therefore by helping reduce hair breakage, the hair stands a better chance of growing to longer lengths. Coconut oil also moisturises the scalp, which helps dead, dry skin cells from clogging the hair follicle, which can prevent the hair from growing any further.

The best method of application is by gently massaging warm coconut oil into the scalp and through the length of the hair. Wrap a steamed towel around the head for the scalp to soften and absorb the oil and nourish as well as strengthen the hair shaft.

Coconut oil is wonderful to use as a hair conditioner. It softens the hair and conditions the scalp. Using the coconut oil as a pre-wash conditioner can rid a person of dandruff better than a medicated shampoo.

12 Quick and Simple Weight Loss Tips
It can be difficult and frustrating trying to lose weight. There is so much information and misinformation. Millions of different products and services that tell you that only their way will work. Expensive foods and supplements that help you lose weight. The latest fad exercises.

What you actually need is to make permanent life style changes that are relatively easy to incorporate into your current lifestyle. That way you will actually stick with them. That is why losing weight slowly is often recommended. If you go all guns blazing, it is likely that you will soon return to your old ways.

Here are some simple tips that you can easily incorporate into your lifestyle to help you lose weight and keep it off. Read these a few times right now, then pin them up in a prominent place so you can look at them every day as a reminder. I like to stick these things on my fridge with a magnet.

1) Give yourself definite rules. Vague rules won't really help you lose weight. Saying 'I must exercise more' can't really be followed. It is far more useful to say something like 'I will go to the gym every Monday, Wednesday and Friday'; and 'I will only eat chocolate on a Saturday'.

2) Eat slower. It takes time for our brains to register that our stomach is full. Eating more slowly gives your brain more time to register when it is satisfied.

3) Change your milk. Swap whole milk for semi-skimmed, or semi-skimmed for skimmed.

4) Eat only when hungry. A lot of people eat before they are hungry. Our bodies know how much fuel we need, and tells us by triggering feelings of hunger. Eating before you are hungry means over eating which leads to weight gain. There is nothing wrong with feeling a little hungry between meals.

5) Leave something with every meal, even if it's just a small amount. Many people eat too much because they were brought up to eat everything on their plate and not waste food. This is a war time mentality that no longer applies! Leaving something on the plate with every meal keeps you in the habit of leaving some food when you are satisfied.

6) Discover why you overeat. If you eat out of boredom, then find new ways to entertain yourself. Perhaps taking up a sport could ease the boredom, and you will also burn off extra calories. If you have other problems such as a lack of confidence or low self esteem, then find a way of dealing with them. Accept that life is hard and challenging, and face them challenges. Hypnotherapy can help.

7) Be more active. Try to find some exercise that you enjoy. If you enjoy them then you are more likely to keep doing them. Some people like going to the gym, whereas other people prefer playing competitive sports. We are all different so try and find what works best for you. Try to incorporate more activity into your daily life, such as walking or cycling to work.

8) Eat smaller portions. Have smaller portions of the food. It often helps to use smaller plates in order for it to seem that your portion sizes are the same as before.

9) Avoid carbohydrates in the evening. Avoid foods with high levels of carbohydrates in the evenings. These include foods such as bread, potatoes, rice, and any sugary snacks. Just because they are low in fat doesn't mean that they don't contain a lot of calories that you will store as fat.

10) Read foods labels. It is quite surprising how many foods imply that they are low in calories or sugar when in reality they are not. 'Low fat' mayonnaise still typically contains around 40% fat. If you don't read up on the nutritional values of food items then you could be consuming more calories than you think.

11) Reduce sugary drinks. The calories in sugary drinks can add up without you really thinking about it. Try weaning yourself on black coffee with no sugar. Even natural fruit juice drinks contain a lot of calories, so only drink these in small quantities as they do contain useful vitamins for health. Try drinking a few glasses of water per day and opting for sugar free drinks. If you must drink alcohol then try drinks such as vodka or whiskey neat, or with low calorie mixers.

12) Enjoy life. Find plenty of hobbies and things to do that you enjoy. Get passionate about things. You will feel happier, more confident, and you will be occupied. A large amount of people that over eat do so because of boredom, plus you will burn at least some calories pursuing these hobbies.

Set yourself some definite rules that you will stick to and write them down and look at them every day. Also read through this list every day. Eventually these life changes will become part of your normal daily routine. It usually takes about 3 weeks of consciously trying to change habits for them to become embedded into your mind. Just keep reminding yourself of these rules for 3 weeks. Even mark it on a calender if you wish. If you slip up every now and then, that is fine, just don't give up -  keep going!

We all want beautiful, shiny, healthy hair, but we can’t expect to bask in the glory of it if we aren’t treating it right.  Getting that glossy hair that falls just right around your face can be easy if you follow these tips for what you should do and shouldn’t do to your tresses.

DON’T wash your hair every day
Washing your hair on a daily basis can dry it out which puts you in danger of more breakage and more frequent trips to the salon due to split ends.  Shampooing daily washes out the natural oils your hair follicles make that keep your hair shiny and silky.

DON’T style with heat every day
Skip blow dryers and flat irons a few times a week.  It’s a myth that hair can handle the heat we apply to it.  Most hair can burn at 410F and some hair appliances get that hot.  Give your hair a break and let it air dry completely a few times a week or just use appliances for a touch up.

DO use a wide tooth comb on wet hair
Since wet hair is more easily stretched and snapped, use a wide tooth comb to get out those tangles instead of a brush which is harsher on the wet follicles.  Be sure to be gentle with your comb.  It is less likely to break hair than a brush, but with enough force, it could do damage too.

DO know how you sleep
If you are a restless one who moves around a lot during the night, try using a satin pillowcase.  These will allow the hair to move more freely and reduce breakage.  Be sure to remove all clips and hair elastics when you put head to pillow, too.

DON’T overuse chemicals
Perms, colors, and chemical straighteners are just as damaging and burn your hair much the same as blow dryers and curling irons.  Try to apply chemicals to your hair as little as possible.  If you do have chemically-treated hair, use a deep conditioner to counteract the harmful affects of them.

DO eat foods your hair likes
Believe it or not, some kinds of foods can do wonders for your hair.  Make sure you are getting appropriate doses of these:
Salmon – This fish is essential to the diet of anyone looking for shiny, strong hair as it contains Omega-3 fatty acids that support scalp health.  Eating salmon on a regular basis will reduce your chances of a dry scalp .
Dark green vegetables – That’s right, moms, now you have a legitimate reason for why your kids must eat their vegetables…they are good for your hair!  Dark greens like spinach, Swiss chard and broccoli help the body to produce sebum, which is a natural conditioner secreted by hair follicles.
Beans – Beans, beans, the magical…hair care treatment.  Legumes provide the protein that your hair needs to stimulate hair growth and they are rich in zinc, biotin, and iron too.  Eat a few cups of kidney or black beans every week and your hair might begin to grow like a beanstalk.

So take this advice and put yourself on the right road to healthier, shinier, stronger hair.  Most importantly, listen to your hair!  It will tell you when it needs some TLC.  Static means you need to use more moisturizing product and skip the hair dryers for a week or so.  If your hair snarls and breaks when you try to run a brush or comb through it, it’s time for a trim to get those split ends off.  With these tips, you should see noticeable differences and be your way to beautiful tresses in no time.
